I was really irritated and pissed with the spots that was on my arms. What so irritating was the spots stay and not go. No matter what kind of cream I apply, it still stays there. stubborn. Mum sensed the serious-ness and wanted me to consult the doctor instead of me not doing anything. Listen to her and consult thedoctor last night.
It have been quite awhile since I last visited my family doctor, DrLam. And my records is damn thick despite my last visit was many years ago. haha! He uses the torch to shine on the spots and I was being contacted by a unknown virus and gottenPityriasis Rosea. Dr Lam was very nice to tell me what was it all about, explaining by drawing the diagram and also took out this thick encyclopedia and explain to me. Very detailed despite me not knowing anything about that. He knew I was really scared that the spots will leave scar. He kept assuring me saying stuff like " no worries, you won't get disfigured" LOL! I didn't even mention about it. but I'm really glad he assure me. HAHA :D
Google it online and I found some informations and pictures(GROSS)

Pityriasis rosea (PR) is a common non-cancerous rash(HARMLESS) that mostly affects the back, chest, and abdomen. It starts fairly quickly, lasts about 6–8 weeks, and is usually not itchy. The cause of pityriasis rosea is not known, though it may be caused by infection with an unknown virus.Pityriasis rosea can occur in people of any age, any race, and either sex, but it is most common in teenagers and young adults (10–40 years old).
The most common locations for pityriasis rosea include:
- Chest
- Upper back
- Neck
- Abdomen
- Upper arms
- Thighs
In an uncommon type of pityriasis rosea, the rash may be concentrated in the armpits and groin or on the face, forearms, and shins.
Pityriasis rosea usually begins with a single patch of pink-to-red, scaly skin, from 2–5 cm in size. This "herald patch" is usually located on the trunk, neck, or upper arms. The herald patch is followed 1–3 weeks later by the development of a widespread rash, with smaller (0.5–2 cm) oval patches of pink-to-red, scaly skin on the trunk and upper arms. The second rash forms a "Christmas tree" pattern on the back.Pityriasis rosea is a self-limited condition, meaning that it goes away on its own, typically within 6–8 weeks, without treatment.
Above is what I google it. And seriously I coudln't do anything now but not to scratch the scar. I was told that the first 3 weeks, the spots will keep increasing and till the 3 weeks, the spots and everything will settle and last 3 weeks is whereby it disappear and not leaving any scar. 9 WEEKS! I NEED TO WAIT FOR 9 WEEKS TILL IT FULLY RECOVERED! OMGOMGOMGOMG!!! I think boy will die upon seeing my spots when he is back from taiwan. haha!
PLS BEAR THIS IN MIND PPLE! LIJUAN IS HARMLESS AND THOSE SPOTS THAT I GOTTA IS HARMLESS TOO!DON'T WALK AWAY FROM LIJUAN BECAUSE OF THIS :(
